UPPSC Eligibility Criteria 

The official notification mentions UPPSC 2023 eligibility. The Provincial Civil Service Examination is the official name of the PCS examination. The eligibility requirements for the PCS examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission are listed in this article.

It includes educational requirements, age restrictions, and physical fitness. The educational requirements for various positions vary. All posts have an age range of 21 to 40 years. Age relaxation applies to candidates from the reserved categories.

UPPSC Exam Stages 2023

The UPPSC PCS exam is conducted in three different stages namely the Preliminary Exam (Objective Type & Multiple choice), Mains Exam (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination) and Viva- Voce/Interview (Personality Test).

The eligibility requirements for the UPPSC PCS are determined by a number of variables. The official recruitment announcement issued by UPPSC includes a list of the requirements. Before submitting their UPPSC application forms, candidates must go through them.

UPPSC Educational Qualification 2023

To take the exam, a candidate must meet all of the educational requirements listed below. The candidate applying for the examination must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a state or federally recognised university.

Candidates in their final semester or those awaiting results can also apply for the exam. They must, however, submit their final semester grade report during the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission.

In addition to the prerequisites listed above, some positions have additional criteria. The candidate must have a UG or PG degree in the relevant discipline; the candidate’s CGPA or percentage is irrelevant.

Senior Sugarcane Development InspectorThe candidate must hold a Master’s degree(PG) in Agriculture Science and the CCC Certificate
Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I)/Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade II)The candidate must hold either a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering as one subject.

UPPSC Age Limit

In order to take the exam, a candidate must ensure that they meet both the minimum and maximum age requirements as well as the requirements for a qualifying degree. The board that administers the examination has established some age restrictions for applicants. Applicants can check the dates of the UPPSC exams here. To appear in the exam, a candidate must be at least 21 years old. The maximum age is 40.
