The revised syllabus has seen further cuts this year for major subjects, with the board deciding to keep the amount of chapters limited for this year as well. CBSE Board Exams 2023 to be conducted only once, no term wise split
As for the term wise syllabus, as earlier hinted by the board, the two terms were a stop gap arrangement. While no official statement has been shared by the board as yet, the revised curriculum is again set in the single examination pattern.
It may be noted that for 2021-22 examination, CBSE Board Exam curriculum was split down the middle – 50 per cent in Term 1 and remaining 50 per cent in Term 2. This year, however, the curriculum released has no such division. Official circular on CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2022-23 is still awaited.
Students and parents are advised to wait for the official circular. While it is evident from the curriculum that the single annual exams are making a comeback, it would be advisable to await the official notice from the board.
